Substance Abuse Counselors:
The National Institutes on Drug Abuse has funded the New England Research
Institutes (NERI) to develop a Web-based course to teach Functional Analysis,
a skill that is integral to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
The prototype module of this course is being designed and will be
available for testing in January 2008.
Your initial involvement would be to view the web-based module and
answer a series of questions about the experience and usefulness of the
enhanced version of the learning materials. You will be randomly assigned
to one of two module versions that can be completed on the web. The evaluation
can be done at your convenience on your own computer. Estimated time to
complete the review is 2-3 hours.
To be eligible for this study you must hold a Bachelor's degree with
certification or licensure in substance abuse or hold a graduate degree in
a counseling profession and currently be seeing substance abuse clients.
Effective July 21, 2008,
we are no longer accepting new applicants
to participate in this study.
Thank you for your interest. |
